e brake clamp?

Default e brake clamp?

Ok so doing my bl&instructions say to remove the clamp from parking brake cable but I see no clamp,am I missing something?

Its not like a hose clamp you know. The cable going into the back is connected to the clamp/ lever. I hope you are only doing one side at a time.

I guess you dont have a Haynes and the fsm from the FAQ/DiY section huh?

I am thinking it is a clip and not a clamp....but I have the manual---but not in front of me. If I was doing brakes for the first time, no way would I attempt without manual with pics....don't want to die in a crash!

Looks like mine was missing&yup got the book now it was in the house&didnt feel like walking up there...I got a large piece of land&barn/garage is a hike away.

When I got my Ram, the rear brakes were crap. Pulled droms and saw more pieces missing than in place.

Found a kit at O'Reileys tha had all the springs, clips, and otehr parts I needed. ABout $8 I think. I got the kit part number in the garage if you need it. I did not need all the pieces but I kept the rest in the box on the shelf.

i once went to help a friend do a brake job on a jeep he had just bought and the moment we pulled the drum everything just fell out. needless to say my friend was not impressed.

I did not have enough pieces to fall out! How the cylinders kept form blowing out the ends I will never know.

on my friends rear end the thing that all the main springs go around broke and i guess it let the rest go including the adjusters. not many of the pieces that fell out where identifiable. most of it somehow ground down to almost nothing.
