Default Burning Rubber Help

I have a serious issue. When I push the brake and the gas down at the same time the engine rpm kicks up a bit and nothing happens. I wana light those rear tires up any ideas?

Are you running oversize tire's? And have you fixed your plenum? But this should be moved to the GD section.

There the tires that came from the dealer in 98 and they are pretty dry rotted. I want to smoke em off before I get new tires but I'm having the problem above.

If no work has been done to the motor there's a fair chance the plenum is blown or at least a bad pcv valve which will foul out plugs and clog catalytic converter's which all rob power.

If you're holding down the brake and floor the gas pedal the rear outta brake lose on stock size'd tire's.

Pour your choice of either oil or bleach on the tires and ground and try again...

Too much brake??

My '01 5.2L with SCT and 265's doesnt want to. If I put it in reverse I can just punch it and they'll light right up. Damn weight transfer.

I find it very easy to break the tires loose... I've laid plenty of stripes down the roads... tires are just to expensive lol

That shouldn't matter. I've got the death flash and I've got no problems spinning tires.. maybe the motor is just weak
