I ran E3's for two years with no real difference in mileage from the Champions they replaced, the low end felt like it had a little extra pep but pinged under a load. I went to 3923's and ping went away but I haven't had a chance to check the mileage on these yet.

Yet another thread about spark plugs. It's like Déjà vu all over again.

Is the wire clip required are OEM items from the dealership or you have a cheaper source for those?

Most local auto part stores carry items that will work just fine. I picked mine up at auto zone.

Pretty much everyone here runs either Autolites, Champions, or NGKs. Pick one.

I use NGKs because they have been a good plug for me on a variety of vehicles with never any huge drawbacks.

I won't use a Champion plug because of experiences years ago. My "Never Again" list has no expiry date but it's a minimum 20 years, and Champion is on it. Might just add that you really do have to **** me off to get on there, and it's a short list, but there you go.

They might be a good plug for these trucks. Don't let my personal buying habits stop you from trying them since people here recommend them. I've never used Autolites so have no experience good or bad with them.
