the past two years I have been working on this dodge ever since I sank the tranny and now after I have everything put back together it hasn't ran the same.
with jumping rpm and back firing also showing codes of p1391 and p1682
Welcome to DF
The P1391 is the loss of a crank or cam sensor signal. Since you had the transmission out, I would look at the sensor wire. It maybe pinched in the bellhousing. I going to move your post to the 2nd Gen Ram section.

I would check the wiring as referenced and even go as far as to remove the sensor and check the end of it for wear or crap built up on it?
