Bet it's a real drag to start in the cold weather though.

Well.....I pulled the intake off. I would say the gasket was blown pretty good.

I cleaned up the intake and started on the Kegger mod. I am surprised at how rough the casting is on this intake. Looks like there is plenty of room for improvement.

I have a new Magnaflow cat/Y pipe ready to install. I am pretty sure mine is clogged. Hope I can get this done by Saturday.

Started the kegger mod by working on the ports. Looks like this will take some time.

after

This truck should run much better after all this!

Well I know the OP installed headers but I just want to put this offer out there for everyone who reads this. I have a set of truck exhaust manifolds for anyone who wants them for $20 plus whatever shipping costs.

I also have 2 stock kegger intake manifolds again for $20 for the 5.9 one plus whatever shipping costs. One is coming off the 5.9 I am taking apart and is going to go into my Jeep and the other is coming off the 5.2 that is in my Jeep right now.
The one coming off the 5.2 already has the Hughes plenum repair kit on it. I'll sell it for $80 plus wahtever shipping costs.

All this is OBO.

Kegger mod is complete and installed. I was cleaning up the threads in the head for the intake bolts and snapped a tap off in the head. So the job took a little longer than expected.
I also had to fix the A/C on my house saturday morning so that was another delay. I spent allot of time just cleaning up the rough casting on the stock intake.
