That picture is up in the Liberty area from Memorial Day weekend 2 years ago. That was the day I decided to stop trying to mess with that dangnab 5.2 and it's over heating issues. I took it out one more time after that and burned up the wiring under the hood for the electric fan.

Mom's house (and the fiance's parents) is between Covington, Maple valley, and Black diamond. 25 minutes away from Ravensdale and all the wheelin there, and not too far from Enumclaw/Buckly/Wilkeson, Evan's, or run up 410 and hit Greenwater and Little Naches... Man I had it good haha

Ok I finally have an update on the engine. It has been hot tanked and magnafluxed and everything checks out fine. The cylinder taper was 15 thousands or something like that. So the cylinders all check out fine for running stock sized pistons.
They are going to use a ball hone on the cylinders and then hot tank it again. After that install the cam bearings and I can go pick up the block and start putting things back together again. So unless I run into issues when I plastigauge the bearings then this will end up being a rebuild on the cheap like I had hoped.

I hope you mean .0015 (15 ten thousandths) instead of .015 (15 thousandths).

Yep I'm sure you're right, I was never any good at writing measurements like that.
Are you stalking my thread?

Notice I said or something like that. I knew I wasn't saying it correctly but I'm not sure you need to correct all my posts in different forums. I guess if it makes you feel better knock yourself out.

Yep, 0.015 is quite a bit. Hope it isn't that much. Ball hone would ot be the best way to do that. Ball is mostly for deglazing.
