'95? Mine is crack free. My technique is neglect and constant exposure and never armor alling, cleaning etc. First a layer of soda for stickiness then cover in dust and dirt for a long lasting protective coating.

in looking at your signature pic i think your actual dash saving technique is that big-*** camper casting a constant shade over the dash.

i think shade and reduced heat is the saving grace. mine was crack free until i starting parking out in the hot sun at work. i neglected to cover the dash and it'd get so hot it burn you to touch it. now its cracked like an egg.

Sun? Is that that wet stuff that is constantly falling from the sky here?

I think you may be onto something. Edit: <-- seriously, no clowning. It's probably some UV exposure thing or something. BTW & FYI I'm only usually running w/o camper loaded. That's just a photo I like. It usually looks about like 2x1972. I liike to create an online image of myself as an indiana jones off road off grid vagabond wandering nomad. Truth is I'm usually commuting in my $hittly little Honda to save gas.

Exactly. That's why the problem simply doesn't exist back home (your 'hood, Ugly).

My 98 was crack free til I read about cracked dashes on dodgeforum. Next day I was admiring my crack free dash and heard a pop. Big f'n crack shot from the windshield to the glove box.

Now I've got a bunch of cracks. I just keep squirting glue in them to hold it together.
