Default I ran over a can of spray paint..

On my way home the other night, I noticed a pop while I was driving. I assumed it was an animal. As I approached my ram the next morning, I noticed a nice spray of white paint down the side of my rocker panel and bed. Later I noticed the crushed can of spray paint on my road. -.- Is there anything I can use on the truck to get the spray paint off that will not remove the factory paint?

Have you tried just scraping at it with your fingernail? Tedious I know, but shouldn't damage the "rare colored" factory paint...

same thing happend to my boss in his new f250 SD, except it was orange marking spray paint. Pressure washer took it right off. youll find that the paint wont adhere to the truck very well unless it was just cleaned before hand and rubbed with steel wool. lol

I'll take it to the car wash and use the manual sprayer. Goof off won't remove my paint right?

Why would I suggest you try it if anything but to remove the spray can paint??? Try it in an inconspicuous area and go from there

The longer you wait, the more that spray can paint is going to set.

2000 grit sandpaper down to clear, then buff.....if the other suggestions don't work.

Can try Easy-off oven cleaner also. Ive done it before and it worked. Just test in a small spot first to make sure no damage happens to your paint. I didnt have any problems though.

I've heard oven cleaner can take the clear off like a paint stripper...
