adjusting camber on a 97 4x4
I was looking for some advise i need to install adjustable ball joints to correct for negative camber out of specs on my 97 ram 1500 4x4,
i was wondering if i could just use adjustable's on the lowers and just replace the uppers with OEM replacements or if i should split the difference between the upper and lowers? drivers side needs +1 degree passenger +1.5 degrees to set both at .2 degrees almost right in the middle of manufacture specification. also and guidance on installing them properly would be much appreciated.

IIRC these trucks have a little bit of negative camber built-in from the factory to make them track straighter. According to the 2001 Factory Service Manual, the camber is not adjustable and is fixed.

Why do you want to correct the factory camber? Too much tire wear or is it even worse than factory spec?

BTW, Welcome to DF!

More than likely the axle tubes have collapsed or streering knuckles are bent. dhvaughan's suggestion is the best course of action.
