Air Bag Light Stays On

I have a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 w/ 318 engine. A few weeks ago my air bag light started to ramine on. What could the issue be and what are the recommened fixes?

Need to get codes read, and see what it has to say. I don't think the parts stores will read airbag codes though. (liability reasons...) Probably have to take it to a shop with the appropriate high-zoot scanner.
