Default whistling while heavy acceleration

So yesterday on the freeway I was going 70. my exit was coming up and some vehicles were in my way so I stepped on it to get around these people and At around 80mph I heard a whisteling sound, kind of sounded like it was coming under the hood, as soon as I got around these people I slowed her back down to 70 and the whistling noise was gone. So my questions would be should i be concerned about this? If so, what should I be looking at to get rid of this noise.

I also did a search went though 7 pages and every thing I was seeing was a whistling sound at light acceleration which mine does not do.

Thank you for any input

I would check for vacuum leaks. Is it smooth at idle?

its smooth at idle, but not too long ago I looked on here about my vents changing where the air is coming out on its own. Ill drive with the fan set to cold sometimes instead of the ac and the air will be coming from the vents right in front of me then just change as if I turned the defrost on

You have wild vents. Probably bad/missing check valve. Passenger side of intake, follow the lines. Little round plastic feller.

Check and see if the gasket under your air filter housing is there, or broken....

I was just thinking about this as I switched back here from remote desktop for work......This gasket either missing, folded over, or torn will cause a whistling type sound...
