Backfiring thru the throttle body and more
go buy yourself a new temperature sensor/sender.. the one that transmits to the PCM, not the gauge..
or...
i'm not familiar with 95's.. are the sensors the same? can he flop them?
if not, buy a new one like OE.. swap it, see what happens. they aren't expensive..
125 is pretty reasonable.. 'specially for a 95...

Yea 125 is great and I put a new timing set it saturday and it fixed it most of the way but I think I found the problem ill let you guys know friday or saturday what I find out thx for the info
Since you had the dist out, you need to get fuel sync reset. Need a scan tool that can read it. If you don't have one, take it to a shop and have it set. Shouldn't be more than an hour labor.
being a '95 limits your ability to pull full data from the PCM.. that's a shame.. but..
can you pull temperature? If you can, observe the temperature the PCM thinks the truck is running at.. there are two sensors on your rig.. one is for the dash, the other is for the PCM exclusively..
If it thinks it is hotter than it is, it will pull a lot of fuel, which will make you stupid lean.. if it thinks it's cooler than it is, it will dump fuel which will make you stupid rich- which sometimes causes backfiring..
I saw where you said you put new gaskets on it upper and lower, several sensors, set sync and changed timing chains.. dizzy.. all that.. that temperature sensor also plays a vital role in trim.. It isn't expensive.. give it a shot..

Yea I actually have replaces those also because the pcm was saying it was -32 degrees and now at full running temp it says 195.8 which it has a 195degree thermostat im lost im going to try a new crank sensor see what happens after that ill probably sell it I have no idea other than that
