Default Two questions (99 Ram 1500 4x4)

Looking to rebuild my gutless, 8 mpg 318 and wondering if theres any way of either stroking it to close to a 340 or just getting a crank from a 360. my other question is ive been looking at the 06 20" 5 spoke rims that came on the ram 1500 and wondering if anyone knows what modifications if any have to be done to put them onto my truck

There are stroker kits that take a 318 out to 390.

Need to turn down your hub centers, or, open up the wheel centers for the third gen wheels to fit properly. (according to what I have read....)

I have also heard that some of the newer 20" wheels have to trim down the hub center's, unless it's a 4th Gen wheel thing....

I put 17" ORE wheels from an '03 on my '01 without any modifications though...

i don't know why people even want to stick newer truck rims on there trucks? the bigger the rim the less rubber they have and the more expensive the tires are. it makes no sense. plus with how little rubber you have it is so much easier to damage a rim. i drive over curbs with my truck all the time. i would probably destroy a set of newer rims.
