Nevermind, found it. all three plugs are in and tight, never been removed. I will spray them with electrical parts cleaner as soon as I get back and try that

Also check the connector back at the gas tank..... Since the fuel gauge quit first, I would look there before getting to strange anywhere else.

Thank you, I will check that to. Obviously the cluster is the instrument panel, right? The guage test did show all my guages worked right. Including the gas guage.. They are connected. Im assuming whatever problem in my pcm, its keeping my truck from getting gas, not allowing it to work, since the fuel pump is safety controlled by the pcm.. The guages dont show anything when trying to start it, only in guage test.

Did you also check fuses in the junction block? (drivers side of dash)

Have you checked for spark, ignition coil? I remember reading somewhere that a bad Cam shaft or crankshaft position sensor can shutdown fuel supply. Not sure if applies here though.

I have not checked for spark. I am just assuming the reason the fuel isnt getting supply is due to the pcm not working. I cant even check my engine codes. I flip the key three times and it does nothing. The only way I can get codes is from holding the trip and turning the key on. Im not home yet. I have the battery disconnected (Negative wire) and key on to reset the PCM. I will check these when I get there.

I would raise the bed up on the driver's side and check the fuel pump and the connections. Have a buddy turn the key on and listen for the pump to start. if not, check the connection to the pump. all aftermarket pumps have a pigtail conversion to the existing wiring harness. take out your multimeter and check for voltage, ground and so on. Sometimes when installing a new pump, it very difficult to disconnect the pump wiring from the harness, and the plug sustains damage and will come loose. if that is all it is, wire tie it together. if this is not the fault, and you have zero voltage, trace the supply wiring forward to find the bad spot and solder and heat shrink it together. Otherwise, try the PCM reset thing. Oh yeah, you need to buy a SCAN tool. Get the best and not a cheapie. I have just ordered the software for my laptop in order to find the problems my SCAN tool can't. No bad, just 80 bucks. Good luck, and keep us posted.

Ok, I have cleaned the fuses, PCM itself, all connections and grounds to it itself.. I have also removed the big plug in the front fuse box under the hood with the screw? Cleaned it, and put it back.. I wiggled the plugs into the PCM, before cleaning, and my guages worked again.. Truck started but only ran a few seconds and died, three times.. Now Im back to nothing, no guages, no starting.. I've pulled everything out of under the dash, havent got to check those wires yet. If the PCM is fried, will it start like that, and then stop again? Im borrowing a scan tool this week
