Default HVAC Cold then Hot when driving

I am having problems with my Air conditioner, as I drive and seem to slow down, go over a small bump, or come to a stop I hear a blend door shut and it goes to hot air. Also if I sit at idle and have the ac on cold and adjust the termostat to warmer it will do the same thing and will not go back to cold if I turn it to cold. it stays on blowing hot air until I turn the air off a few times or have to turn off my ignition and restart engine. seems to me a vacuum problem or electric control problem. Please help, it's getting hot in NEW MEXICO.

I was looking at the actuator motor today under the glove box near the floor and noticed the spindle on the actuator motor was spinning 360 degrees continuously. i thought that was kinda strange. I then turned the temperture control slowly from coldest to warmer and noticed it started to slow down and could hear the blend door shut. I continued with moving the temp control to hotter and noticed the spindle reversing direction. I guess it was trying to open the blend door so it would go to the cold side of the vents, so I guess that makes sence to replace the plastic interposer with the metal one from heater treater. thanks for confirming my problem. I will repost if that fixes my problem.

Unhappy

Recieved part from HeaterTreater and installed it. The part did not fit to well, I had to use a file to take down some metal until it fit. Once I was able to get the part to slide onto the actuator motor, and mounted it back in place it fixed my HVAC problem. Thank so much for your help.
