Overcharged.

There is a specific pressure range you are going for, depending on ambient temp. Should be a chart on the can, or, failing that, it's in the FSM.

Would one can be enough to overcharge a system that previously didn't have enough in it to get the compressor started?

Yep.

Quick test, bypass the high pressure switch, see if the compressor runs.

Not sure if I'm doing it wrong, but based off what I have read, neither of them are doing anything when bypassed..

Getting power across the clutch connector?

Got a scanner? Might check and see if the PCM is seeing the A/C request as well.

This sounds completely stupid, but yesterday I took my truck to a good friend of mine at a shop. It's been 105+ here so it was pretty necessary. My problem was identical to yours. What caused it? Blown 20A horn fuse. WTF right? Good luck.

All switches and connectors that are connected to the compressor is showing power (11.5 - 13) ..

I am not sure how to check the PCM or even what the PCM is. I'm very sorry = / ..

The only thing I have noticed outside of the PCM ( because I dont know what that is yet ), Is that the black and blue wire measured 11.5 volts with a 13 ground.. as where everything else I have measured, including the relay switch was 13 and 13

Add ALL the info about your truck to your SIG and Profile. And if you don't know what the PCM is (computer, power train control module). You shouldn't be f'n around with the AC.

I appreciate the reply zman, but honestly, i'm not " f'n " around with anything. I'm using a system that has never worked while I have had it. And if anything, its a learning experience. I haven't done anything dangerous, and I am using this forum to make sure of that.

Again, I really do appreciate any help.
