Do the 2500's sit a little taller or is it just me?

Yes they do. For instance: When was the last time you saw a 1500 4x4 running 35's with zero rub and just 2" leveling spacers? My 2500 does

It can be pretty easy to mistake a 2500 for a 1500....

Well from the front or rear the axle size difference is obvious, from the side you can usually tell if there's more than 5 lugs... All I was saying is that 2500's sit about 2" higher than 1500's haha

I'm just glad it wasn't just me.

I usually hack the fender openings to fit bigger tires on all my other trucks but the front tires are so close to the door. I really don't want to put a body lift on and I don't want to lift it to the sky either.

So what's your opinions on body lifts? Like I said, I love my saw.

How big are you trying to fit? My truck is lower than all the other trucks I see running around on 35's, and it is the exact same body as a 1500. I personally don't like body lifts.

Edited because I am retarded.

Not a fan of body lifts either.

Question becomes, what size tires do you want to run?

If you are trying to wheel with 35's like you originally suggested, level it, pull the plastic inner fenders out, and throw them 35's on. I don't rub with my plastic fender inserts in, but my truck hasn't been wheeled with these 35's either.

35's for now. But I'd like to go 39 Boggers. I have a fetish for boggers.

You will probably need some lift for those..... 4" should do it. You will also wanna re-gear.... 4.88's at least, maybe even 5.13s.....
