Take your guess!
168k on the clock, oil pressure drops to 0-5psi after it warms up to operating temps... Im going to get a reman motor with some extras when it pops. Until then, I am going to squeeze the rest of the life out of her
How many miles until she pukes?

Is that with truck gauge or with mechanical gauge hooked up to get a true reading.of what's going on.
Read somewhere in here that actual pressure at idle is down around 5 to 10 psi, although dash gauge says otherwise. I put a new pump in at 185,000 and got 212,000 on her now. But things can snow ball. Guess I would do more testing, but that's just me.

sorry I should have put the trucks history for everyone that didn't see my other threads- changed pump, sending unit,(mech gauge is still on) main and rod bearings, and won't keep oil pressure up. Wont stay over 10 psi even at WOT... Currently has 20w-50 oil in her to help the viscosity
I am hoping for 10k

Don't hold your breath on that. If you can't even maintain 10PSI at cruising speeds, your engine isn't going to last much longer.
Did you plasti-gage the bearings when you installed them?

She has done one 40 mile trip so far
She's half way there but your guess might not be far off lol
The difference of 0.004" and 0.060" could make a world of difference in holding or not hiolding pressure - and is not something that can be checked visibly without plastigage.
But instead of waiting for it to crater, if it was me, I think I would be building or buying another engine to go in. If it shells, there may not be muck left there to use to rebuild.
