2001 dodge ram 1500 5.2
hope someone can help me out here
iv got a 2001 dodge ram 1500 5.2 is getting hot iv replaced the tstat waterpump bypassed the heatercore still gets hot the top and bottom radiator hose's are supper tight i can start it cold remove the radiator cap when it warms up i can see it circulating but after i put the cap back on and drive it then check it the hose's are tight iv flused the radiator with prestone super flush still no good also iv seen alot of foamy water come out of the radiator with the cap removed.
im stumped

hose's get real tight you can just barly sqeeze them and i had a 192 stat in it no stat in it now
210 to 250 gets hot after i drive it about 30min

here i am allmost 49yr old and iv work on alot of trucks iv seen some that was so simple to figure out it just unreal. BUT when you no when its time to ask for help you have too. i joined this forum just for that i posted my problem got a few reply's.

most of the main problem with some of these damn dodges when you think well waterpump goes out you buy a new (NOT THE PROBLEM) then you replace the tstat (NOT THE PROBLEM) you back flush hum water goes threw what the hell. THEN IT DAWNS ON YA LIKE A SMACK IN YOUR FACE.
radiators clogged and ill be damn that is what my problem was
dont get me wrong theres probley alot out there that has had blownhead gasket cause it. all im saying is make sure your rad is not pluged AND THANKS FOR THE HELP. STEVE PS i hope i didnt affend anyone
