Default shudder during idle

Ok, I know this is sort of odd but I need help solving this issue on my girlfriend's mazda millenia. During idle it intermittently shudders like its missing but when given gas it wont shudder or anything like its fine. When I hooked the computer to it, it read miss in cylinder 4. So I replaced the spark plugs. I was just wondering if anyone knew some quick tests to help me figure this issue out. Thank you

Low fuel pressure, failing O2 sensor, bad spark plugs/wires/cap/rotor? (does it even HAVE a distributor?)

At least you posted in the GD section. Or it was at least moved if you didn't originally. Like there should be a Mazda or Buick question in the Ram Tech section. LOL

Clean/replace air filter; clean the mass air flow sensor with the correct cleaner from the parts house and most importantly clean or replace the IAC on it.. Sounds alot like my buddies that had a clogged air filter and dirty/sticking IAC.

And him posting here is probably or should be considered a compliment? LOL!

+1. I kind of agree. I think the things jondakotaguy listed are good starting points puls the plugs and wires. DOn't know if it has a disty and rotor or not, but if so, probably a good idea to check that as well. Also, it is has coil packs, may want to check them as well. Should be able to ohm them out. Haynes should give values for this.

+1, in the GD section however. I'm actually kind of amazed this thread is still here in the Ram tech section. VWandDodge has a Mazda too. Maybe if the thread title was not deceiving and in the correct section, he might have a tip or two.
