Headlight/foglight switch

damn, just realized that I have 3 threads on this lights trouble shooting.
Working on it right now, bad ground to the inner sockets and outer ones doesn't read 0 on the ohm scale. Where is the headlight ground at?? I think I read once that it's grounded at the main switch, can I just splice and bypass this at the sockets?
Little help please, I want to get this working.
Thanks

Extra grounds are always a good idea. I would recommend a chassis ground up front that you can split four ways. Two to each side to act as ground for the headlight and foglight per side.
As long as you have switched power for low, highs, and fogs, the grounds should at least get the lights back on until you can solve the real issue.

ok thanks for the quick reply.
I have power to all light bulbs and fog lights, just no ground. I have power in both wires at the split for the fog light harness, doesn't make sense to me. I attempted to test the light/fog switch on fog switch doesn't seem to work. I will try a new ground and see what happens, I will probably install another fog light switch separatly.
