So crawl under there, and wiggle stuff, see what's loose.

If its "light" sounding like a tin can its probably your brake pads. The cheaper ones like to rattle like no tomorrow. The wife's Durango is doing it right now. To test this theory, go over some bumps at a speed that it normally does it but apply the brakes enough to slow you down just a little, but obviously not enough to stop.

If its a little "heavier" sound check your swaybar endlinks and the frame mounts. As stated above, bad shocks will certainly make this noise, as will some of the cheap replacements as they may not be quite wide enough to fill the space between the mounting tabs.

The shocks will also rattle if the bottom bolts aren't torqued tight enough.
