new speakers? with inifinity system?

Haha yeah I got a good chuckle out of it.... And that's what I kept hearing about them so I just searched around n got those speakers for 145 shipped not too shabby.. And any ideas on where to put the tweeters?

I'm about to redo all the speakers in my truck. Do you have to rewire the whole thing from the head unit? Or can you just cut off the factory plug in and wire the power and ground to the new speakers?

It's better in the long haul to rewire your speakers back to the head unit with better quality/lower guage wire.... But you don't HAVE to I just left the factory wires for now because I'm going to upgrade the head unit and install amps n such later

and you don't even have to cut any factory plugs they should just slide onto the new speakers...

When I changed my head unit, I went through Crutchfield. No reason spending $$$ on a stereo, plus the adapter kit made wiring a breeze.

yeah im lookin around for a head unit now...prolly order from ebay or sonic electronix crutchfield seems a wee bit steep on their prices...

I found a lot of good deals on onlinecarstereo.com. They had everything I was looking for plus a custom box that fits the 2nd gen regular cab.
