Check your Throttle Valve Cable. Haynes manuals have a good illustration. If that isn't adjusted right the tranny won't shift properly.

Changed your fluid and filter in recent memory? Might wanna drop the pan, see what you find. Wouldn't be a bad time to check the governor pressure sensor/solenoid, and see if they aren't crudded up, or, if there is something in the pan that shouldn't be......

Good idea, HeyYou. Better adjust the bands while you are in there. It isn't hard to do.

Just changed the fuel filter and adjusted the throttle cable. But those didn't work.
