Nope, drum rear brakes like yours.
The rubber line may not 'appear' to be bad. Mine wasn't. I chased my tail on that problem. I replaced the master, the prop valve, the hard lines to and from the ABS system...nothing was working. Finally, I changed the flex line and bingo, no more residual grab.
My symptoms were similar to yours. My front brakes were fine. My rears would be loose enough for me to get in and drive normally until I hit the brakes for the first time and then they'd 'feel' like they were still dragging. The rear brakes both got hotter than normal meaning there was increases friction from residual clamping.
The rubber hose does it's purpose but it's a multi layer design and over time a swell happens between the layers. The outside seems fine but the inside where the fluid runs is constricted from the layer swelling. The master is powerful enough to push fluid through to the brakes but there is not enough back pressure from the brakes to push the fluid back through the swollen shut line. Over time, gradually, the pressure bleeds back out, but it's a slow process compared to the constant use of the pedal when driving.
My money, for your situation, is still that flex line. The one to the axle where it splits to the wheels.[/quote
Thanks sooper,
That hose is cheap enough to replace i will try that here in a few minutes. Will let you know.
I cant get the quote copy in that box like you did still trying to figure out forum workings.

You just click the Quote button, then make sure your cursor is in the field anywhere at the bottom below the late [ /quote] code box. If your cursor and what you type ends up before that [ /quote] box, your text will show up in the quote field as if it were written by the person you're quoting.

As for the hose, I repalced it, and it did not fix the issue. It still rolls the same. It did let me see that brake pressure was lost overnight or something odd in the rear. I could see and feel the first pump of the brake pedal thru the hose. Then the second i could see and feel but not the second release. (I was checking to see if it was balloning) The pressure remained on the pedal to check the ft hoses.
I took the hose off top first and bent it over the drain pan and no brake fluid was in the hose. Plenty coming out of the line though. After the hose was replaced the pressure was still present in the system(before bleeding), i found that to be a little odd.
This truck has only 2rwal. That abs module unit Looks just like the one on my wifes 93 explorer that caused lots of problems.
The napa guy said he had heard of the frt hoses collapsing more than the rear. (maybe you can verify) So i may have to replace those as well.
So the silver lining in this may be that the brake system may still be causing a issue. After the test drive cold operation seemed better, but got worse as everything heated up as usual. Drum temp good, calipers as well rotors a little hot to touch. Lug and hub temp seemed normal.
