Default Brand New Paint!

Hey guys, just thought I would share the new paint job on my truck. Paint + Materials cost me less than $200. I'm loving the satin-ish finish I got from it. Not completely Matte, but very very low gloss. I'll try and get more pics up soon.

Not done the exterior yet, just had to share the new paint.

Cheers.

What did you paint it with? IN the pics, it looks pretty good.

Thanks!

After reading the THOUSANDS of posts on this thread

http://www.hotrodders.com/forum/john...ack-31993.html

I decided to give it a try. I figured what the hell, if it doesn't work or look good then its not a huge waste of money. Did some prep work for it. WEll, a lot of sanding and such, mixed everything up and went for it. I'm very pleased as to how it came out.

My username doesn't make much sense now though lol.

Also, it will not retard rust.

That from the wiki linked to in that thread..... Does the paint not seal out moisture? Or, are they suggesting that you NOT paint over rust? (which isn't a good idea anyway....)

Looking at the prices listed, that IS cheap.
