Default Stupid question but...

Should the compressor run when the defroster is on? I can hear it cycle on and off but not sure if it should be doing that.

Yep. Reason being, Refrigerated air carries less moisture...... and yes, it does the same thing in the winter too... when ALL the air is already refrigerated.....

The physics involves the fact that cold air cannot support moisture, so the moisture drops out of the air (as condensate) into the bottom of the air box.....and hopefully out through the drain....OK....Too much technical...even for the tech section....:icon_playi ng:
