Set Ignition Timing

+1 on hemifever for the SCT tuner. Also, the mark on the pulley is not the fuel synch. It is set by cam sensor in the distributor.
And +1 on the MT 2500. One of the best investmsnts tool wise for my Ram and other vehicles. I bought the MTG 2500 (G for graphing capability) with a lot of other connectors in addition to the OBS II connector and can even use it on some of my older vehilces. Also need a "key" to match vehcile manufacturer, but the keys are pretty cheap.

But the engine must be at #1 TDC compression which you line up with the timing marks on the harmonic balance/timing cover, then there is a "Cyl #1" mark on the top of the cam sensor that you line up with the rotor, this should at least get it close. Like I said, I'm not using the stock PCM but it still wouldn't run right if it wasn't at 0, and that method worked for me after I rebuilt my engine.

A lot of options on E-Bay for Snap-On MT2500, is there a chance you could link me to the correct one for the Ram if anyone has the time?
Also found this, not sure if it works on setting a fuel sync too: http://www.ebay.com/itm/UPDATABLE-CA...ht_3292wt_1270

The one you linked to is just a code reader maybe a little more. This is what you need http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=...at=0&_from=R40
