I have an appt for tomorrow to have the dealership set the fuel sync. My timing set won't be here till Wednesday. Can I do the timing set after the fuel sync, so long as I do it correctly and don't move anything?

It will alter fuel sync a bit, would be better to have sync set after you do the timing set, but, the PCM can compensate for the few degrees difference it is going to see.

Had it synced and it runs like a champ. Also the duals w thrush packs sounds really good.

Next on the list is figuring out why tc won't engage and also suspension all around

Going to do the body and lighting next wk. Scored a sport front bumper (to replace the one po smashed) for 40 bucks with fog lights and trim pieces. Going to do bodywork, paint, and bitchin head and tail lights next week.

A more immediate issue came up.. brake light/blinker on one side stopped working. I replaced both bulbs which both had hot spots in the glass. Still doesn't work. All wiring is good. Fuse looks good.

check for both voltage and ground at the bulb socket.
check for corrosion in the socket.
follow passenger wires back over to drivers side.
look carefully for any trailer wiring splices or junction pigtails.

TC - transfer case or torque converter?
if transfer case, understand the difference in step 1) transfer case shift to engage front drive shaft (pretty reliable) and step 2) front axle cad lock. (piece of crap)
