Oh yeah, still getting the code for intermittent loss of crank signal to pcm. The sensor I replaced was not damaged. All wiring is good. Switched relays around and no change

Any ideas?

Cam and crank sensor codes. Check the connectors at the PCM, make sure they are clean, and tight.

Yup. Just removed the pcm to have parts store check it. They didn't have the right plugins. Put everything back together tight. No change. How else can I find out if pcm is bad? Wiring looks good everywhere but will triple check.

Changed crank sensor twice and cam sensor once. I know the codes show this as the problem area but i really don't believe my brand new sensors are bad. Switching the crank sensor out a 2nd time showed no change

What brand sensors? Duralast? *cough*..... Your sensor may very well be "good", by the definition of the company that manufactures them, that does not, however, mean the PCM will play nicely with them. Still have the old sensors? Compare them to the new sensors, crank sensor in particular, it needs to look EXACTLY like the old one, length, diameter, etc, for it to work properly. May also want to look in the hole it goes in, and have someone turn the engine slowly, and make sure there isn't crap in the voids it is supposed to read.

A lot of the info you ask for is all mentioned previously. Borg warner w lifetime warranty. Meets or exceeds oem standards and is the exact same size and shape of the original

I read too many of these threads..... and going back and re-reading 3 pages isn't much fun.

BW sensors should work ok..... is there a junkyard about that you can score another PCM from? Needs to be 96, or 97, I don't think anything newer will work. Without having it flashed to your vin, the ABS, and Air Bag lites will stay on, but, for just a test to see if it runs better.... worth a shot.

Also you may be on to something w the voids in the flywheel but to see down there I would have to pull the engine.. its hard to reach and seeing down there is truly impossible due to location

I can believe that.....

Might be easier to pull the starter motor, and inspection plate, have a look from underneath. May only have to pull the starter..... Have a look.

I wouldn't hold out a lot of hope on that though..... just one more variable to eliminate.

Plan of attack is to check all wiring, new timing set, new pcm, mopar sensors, and new flywheel/driveplate, in that order
