Default stalling and surge idel

tried to search but its not working for me, i just bought a 1999 ram 1500 4x4 5 speed at auction a few weeks ago and it runs like a champ for the most part. 5.2l 82k miles but when im idling or push the clutch in and put it in neutral lets say to stop at a light it idles real low then surges not bad but you can here it in the exhaust (no tach). and every now and then dies all together but starts right up. i know my way around a dodge truck quite well but this has me stumped, i have done all the usual fixes, iac, cleaned tb, have good fuel pressure, replaced the fuel pump relay, new coil, cap rotor, plugs (yes i gaped them) and wires. but still the the problem has not gotten better or worse. any ideas?

truck was rolled... ill include some pics of it as i bought it and some i took a week ago half way through the body work

Check the TPS. That's a common symptom of it failing.
