Default Stock tweeter Size

Hey fellas.
did a search and not a whole lot came up.. I was wondering if anyone remembers the stock tweeter size for our trucks. 01 Sport.. came w/ original infinity system.. talking about the tweeters thare are in the "A" pillars.. thanks guys!

i dont know because i dont have them in my truck but i would try going to bestbuy.com or calling them and asking. they sould know everything you need

Not sure exact size, but,when I bought my MB Quart stuff,the new tweeters required less than 1/32 shaved off allthe way around to fit in the stock location sounds SO damn nice

They are about an inch and a half or so. Just grip the panel a little down from the top and pul it towards the steering wheel, its right there.

Default Stock sweeter size

I know that this is an old thread but still very relevant.
The 2001 Sport came with a 1 in tweeter on the pillar.
5.25 speaker and 6x9 speakers.
Hope this helps anyone with the same question.

Just found that mine weren't even wired to the aftermarket head unit. Found some good looking 1" speakers from my busted sony tv. Should I put these in?

They are free, so there's that, but, likely not the best quality speakers. Also, I suspect that won't survive long in a truck cab. That is not the environment they were designed for.
