collector bolt size

Default collector bolt size

hey everyone. all of my collector bolts have rotted away. damn rust!

what size are the collector bolts? ive searched, but have yet to come up with anything. im thinking 3/8's bolt, also, how long should they be?

all help is appreciated, thanks!

about 2.5 inches long and 3/8ths seems right just went out and looked. this is the stock y pipe im assuming

ah ha! i found it! 3/8-16x2 1/2 collector bolts! thank you summit racing, and jba headers!

no, magnaflow high flow direct fit cat, bought it off zman.

all 4 of my collecotr bolts on my stock manifolds rotted off, so i needed to know the correct size. guess i just answered it myself, lol!

for all the noobs that may come across this.... all i did was do a little searching, and went to summit racing and found what i needed!

On a different note do you like the high flow and does it make it louder
And searching always seems to work

i dont know, havent gotten it installed yet. thats what i needed the bolt size for. gotta get some bolts, then ill install it. my truck will probly be a bit quieter with the highflow, than it is now. i currently hava a gutted cat, with the stock y-pipe, so hopefully ill get a bit of power out of this too.

one more question. is it safe to use grade 2 bolts, or should i be using grade 5, or grade 8?

Use whatever bolts you want . They are all going to rot and rust anyway.
