Default 94' Trailer brake controller wiring?

Okay I've searched high and low and can't find all of the information I'm looking for in regards to installing a trailer brake controller in my 94' Ram 2500. From my understanding there is no plug under the dash in the 94's. So I would need to hardwire it in. Which is fine and all, I can live with a hardwired controller.

But I have read some places that there should still be the blue wire under the dash hanging out somewhere, but I can't find a single open blue wire just hanging around under the dash. I've also read that there should be a blue wire ran from the rear all the way to the engine bay but it might not go into the cab. And I've seen places where people say the wire terminates in the wheel well? I'm just trying to figure out where the heck I can find this wire.

I've already got the 7 pin plug on the back, although I'm not 100% positive it's a factory hitch or plug, is there any way to tell? I did have the heavy duty flasher relay in the glove box still in the factory packaging when I bought the truck if that means anything. Anyways, coming out of the 7 pin connector on the hitch there is another connector that has the blue trailer brake wire from the hitch going in, and a really light bluish, almost seafoam colored wire coming out towards the front of the truck in a harness. But I can't seem to find this wire under the hood so far. Is there somewhere that it would have terminated under the truck?

I know I have to run 1 wire for battery positive, and 1 for battery negative. No issues there. And I know the 3rd wire is for the brake signal, what wire do I tap into and where abouts is it located? And then lastly I'd like the location of the blue wire, or at least a rough area that I should search heavily to find it since I don't see it under the dash unless there is a specific place it would be.

Thanks in advance. Just trying to hurry up and get this in soon. Most likely helping a friend pick up a car using his car hauler. And I don't feel comfortable hauling all that weight that far without trailer brakes. Not to mention I really want to get to put this v10 through its paces at least a little bit since it's been babied with easy work it's whole life.

Blue wire goes from the brake controller to the plug on the back and then to electric brake controller on the trailer.

Default I found the blue wire

I found the blue brake controller wire. Open the fuse box cover and look behind the fuse box at the wire bundle coming through the firewall. It's taped on the top of the bundle and barely visible. I can't get the image to properly orient- the bracket with the string is the parking brake. I hope this helps someone avoid the hours I spent trying to find it.
