Default tow hook?

my 98 4x4 does not have any tow hooks up front, I'm not sure if that's normal or not. Where are yours located and did they come from the factory?

Most of them did not come with factory tow hooks. In fact, I think only the Off Road editions did. (2000, and 2001 model year only)

HeyYou is correct. I have mine pulled off and will be putting up for sale. Just not sure I want to ship b/c they are a bit cumbersome.

i have a set of factory hooks like above that i bought on ebay. they were an option, not standard equipment. you can still buy them new from dodge, but they're pricey at about $130-140.

you need something that wraps around the frame, as the cross member is weak and the ends of the frame are curved. if you're handy with metal, you can make a set like above for not too much bucks.

i'd pay him to ship them. won't cost that much.

unless you buy them new from dealer, or find some in a local junkyard - they're hard to find.
