consider replacing PCV valve. some years are on drivers side valve cover, some on passenger side. hose connects to the side of the intake.

on the OPPOSITE valve cover is a vent elbow with hose going to air filter. air should flow from air filter through engine, through PCV, into intake.

when PCV gets stopped up, oil soaked air from engine, under mild pressure, vents up to air filter. that's where your oil is coming from.

I will check that pcv valve. the truck idles fine it does'nt jump up and down. my biggest issue is when you stomp the pedal down it should take off quick. and its like slug. it should shift down and go.. i know its no a hot rod. but if im doing 20mph or 30mph. And i hit the pedal it accelerates very slowly. thats my biggest issue..

Try adjusting your kickdown cable, or tv cable as some refer to it.

I changed the PCV valve and went one click in with the throttle cable and it runs a lot better now it down shifts when i hit the gas and it takes off a whole lot better. Thanks dhvaughan and to everyone else for your input
