Default sport bumper repair

Hey everyone I have been trying to get some rust fixed on my truck lately. little over my head with body work since i never have done it, but i guess you got to start somewhere. Well the PO must have hit some concrete wall a little bit or something. I have some deep scraps and a crack on my passenger side of the front. Any body work guys out there done work like this and can give me some pointers? Also my truck is white and under the white is black so it is so noticeable. drives me nuts.

Wellllll......Pictures would be more than helpful. Almost required to get good info in a reaponse. A little damaged will mean something so someone, and something else to another.

Couple guys here are very good with help on this type of issue....and I know pics would help them.

Sand with 400, fill the gouges with a flexable filler, sand smooth and finish with 400, prime, sand with 600, spray color than clear.

Be easier to spray the color only where needed and clear the entire bumper.

If you want the cheapest "quick fix" and dont care if the gouges are there, just want them "hidden", scuff the area with a grey scotchbrite, puff can a close match white and be done.

DA out the small scratches with 320 or 400, "V" out the cracks with a die grinder, then use PlioGrip or a similar finishing cream over the area. Sand it smooth, then use a high build primer such as Limco 800k and apply 2-3 medium coats. You may block it with 320 if you'd like, but really it should be fine if you just wet sand it with 500 or 600 grit.

As far as finishing it goes, you would probably be best taking it to a body shop and having them blend it in.

Well im not really picky and my truck is deff no show truck. So im thinking ill take the advice and sand it all and put the filler in and sand it all smooth. But unforunatly ill probably for the finish just use the color match paint i already have and spray it then hit the spot with a clear coat. as long as its not so noticable im happy.

Be sure to put primer over the filler, let dry, and sand with either 400 or 600, preferably 600, before you spray the color.
