Default Plug Wires

I replaced my spark plugs yesterday (Champion 436) and got motivated to make plans to replace my wires. Before I buy however, I'd like to hear some advice and reviews perhaps on certain brands and the size (7mm,8mm, etc.) I should go with. By the way, it's a 2001 4x4 5.9L. Thanks in advance!

I've been using Taylor 8mm's; No complaints at all.

Summit 8mm. Not routed per TSB. No miss, that I can tell. Did them about a year ago.

I personally use Standard Motor Products wires and sensors. And have for 20 or more years. Never have a problem and neither one of my Rams were/are routed like the TSB states. I also have Champion 436 truck plugs.

Go for it man, if you have not replaced the lower intake pan gasket, o2's and the cat, I think you are wasting money.

just go with the summit wires. theyre on sale for 27 bucks. or taylors 8mm's for 32. cant beat the price.....

gonna go with the taylors myself, along with summits cap/rotor kit with brass terminals.

trying to decide on plugs though... i have a miss that i cant seem to shake. plenum has been done. new(ish) cat o2's were installed about 2 years ago with ntk's have about 25-30k on them. and i still get pinging when i use 87 octane, 93 octane doesnt ping at all.

you may have cracked heads man. i think thats my issue. will find out in about 5 months or so, when tax returns come in.
