the application guides tend to be wrong on our trucks. as said the 1996+ 49 state federal emission system have two sensors, one pre-cat, one post-cat and the california's have two pre-cat and two-post which by the way is a perfect platform for dual exhaust.

locate your o2 plug above the trans or t-case. unplug them and check the shape of the connector - round or square, and measure length of the wire.

Yessir... As soon as I figured that out, I went true dual on my rig... The four made it stupid easy.. I still have issues chasing readings with the wideband, though.. there is nowhere north of the cats to monitor both.. mine uses a true x magnaflow muffler for the cross.. which makes it a cross dual instead of a true..
