Default What small improvements could I make?

Hey guys,

After taking the black off the rest of my headlights today I got to wondering about what other improvements I could make. I already have wheels/tires, exhaust, leveling kit, HIDs, tint & removed all the decals (my brother did that when the truck was his. Wishing he hadn't though).

Anyone have some suggestions? I'm already thinking about buying some new headlight fixtures (original factory ones) around Christmas. The ones I have are just too old and cloudy.

Thanks,
Max

are you trying to go all black or do you want some chrome. if u want chrome do the door handles nice chrome tips for the pipes and some chrome step bars it makes these trucks really pop mine is green and it looks good not to much chrome tho u don't want it trashy.
and with the rims you already have i think that would look good

dont forget the fuzzy dice they add power and style lol

Nice looking truck, I would put a small lift on and get it up just a little more.

Lift yes. I would paint the lower part of the front bumper black.

Ahhh, you beat me to it.

You can buy the emblems online if you really want them...

If you like tow mirrors (shown in my sig picture), they're like $160 or so on eBay. I got 'em on my truck and I like them much better look-wise and functionality-wise. The actual mirror is like twice the size of stock, plus its got that little magnifier in the corner which helps some.

If you're looking for performance, taking care of your possible blown plenum gasket (if you haven't fixed it already) will give you back power & mpg, and not ruin your cat. If it's been fixed, an SCT tuner will boost your hp/tq numbers a bit.

Cab lights are another idea, you can get 'em in black, amber, clear, etc. I don't like the look of them but maybe you will. Also those tailgate LEDs are kinda neat, although most I've seen are only 1/2 working lol.

yea if ur looking for power mods, I can sell you an SCT tuner that would wake it up. And I even throw in a decal lol lol

My friend did the process where you buff out ur headlight lenses. It did a pretty good job but then they started to cloud up again within a month. Guess when you start that, you gotta keep at it

There was headlight paint on them from when my brother blacked them out.

Where could I find new decals? Easy to put on? If I find the old ones how could I put them back on without falling off?

I already have chrome 4x18 Flowmaster tips. Not really going for a bunch of chrome though.

Thanks for the great suggestions guys!
