Default Ultrapower O2 sensor

Are these any good? in my search for part numbers I emailed rockauto and they suggested the Ultrapower for the upstream sensor because it's one of there more popular items.

Any feedbacks?

Denso and NTK are usual recommended on here and are considered OE replacements.

i'd stick with the basics and look for best pricing on those brands. consider a universal fit if it saves you any money. you just splice it into your old pigtail with butt connectors.

I asked them about a upstream from Denso and they don't have them. I will ask for NTK next time.

ngksparkplugs.com... drill down and find 'em.. as cheap there as any other place, and you'll get the right one..

I respect dhv's opinion on most everything he's ever contributed, but I strongly disagree with using a universal, and even moreso pigtailing them in.. o2's operate by minutely altering voltages, and pigtailing even a OE one is a very bad idea..

the issue with Bosch or other brand o2's is the latency of the reading.. it is either too fast or too slow, I can't recall which- but both are bad.. problem: it will 'operate' inside of the fault parameter (won't set a code), but won't perform as you need it to do the job it's intended..

I am with you on this one, especially after reading a lot of your treads on these sensors with much interest.

Now I have these part numbers from NGK for the upstream sensor, Left 23506 and Right 23151.

Wich one is the good one for a 2 sensors, 2-in-1 catalytic converter setup??

You want the Right version. The left one only shows up on Cali emissions trucks.

The Denso or the NTK at Rock Auto are less than $35, for the "right" version. Use the discount code and save a little more. Do not get a cheap universal and use butt connectors no matter where you live, "butt" especially not since you live in the Northeast.
