Default Rebuilt Transmission help

Hello all! I recently installed a rebuild 46re transmission in my 97 ram 1500 4x4. After installation i took it for a test drive only to find that my transmission sputters during acceleration. it almost feels like its shorting out or something. the rpms jump around like its slipping, but its brand new! im really confused. anyone out there had the same problems?

Make sure engine is on and in neutral when filling. Then cycle through all gears. Did you flush the tranny lines?

Check valve been deleted? It could be clogged and starving the tranny for fluid & pressure.

what could cause a brand new transmission to to that? i mean its hard to completely describe what its doing with only words, but this is my 2nd transmission ive put through it and i dont even abuse my truck. i treat it well, and ive done transmission swaps before. I have double and triple checked my connections and lines and everything is in its proper place. quite frusterating...

What do you mean by "sputters?" Who rebuilt tranny? Did they install new solenoids and sensors inside the tranny? There are a couple places where you have to measure for shims in when rebuilding. If shims are reused, they may or may not work, depending on clearances. New frictins alter the space.
