Disconnect your front driveshaft and put it in 4 and see if the yoke turns. If it does, the problem is not in the t-case.

Which yoke?

If the t-case yoke turns while in 4, there is a problem in it.

If the the truck is running, 4x4 is engaged, and the truck's stoppped, the front yoke shouldn't turn. If 4x4 is NOT engaged, it should. (Assuming the CAD is functioning correctly.)

well transfer case is back together and works good after I put it back together. I found out that who ever assembled it didn't do it right. The front axle is my problem now, ring and pinion are missing over half there teeth. So now it's time to rebuild that too.

That's because the gears are trashed.
