99 ram trouble
ok i just got another ram its a 99 1500 with a 5.2 2wd the trouble with this one is the flex lines that go to the tranny cooler (they have connectors that look like fuel lines) under the hood will pop off under load and the drivers side motor mount the bolt going thru the mount sheered the head off and i dont know were to find one no junk yard around were i live has any 2nd gen rams i only paid 500 for the truck it has 165000 on it

Replace the connectors on the trans lines.... (probably a cut and splice deal....) flush the cooler lines out good, and get rid of the check valve. Do NOT flush the trans itself, just the cooler lines. Connectors, and the tool to release them are available at most parts stores. Or, I think you can order the whole line set from the dealer......
It's just a big bolt. Hardware store should be able to get you one.
