Can't be sure at all, you possibly fixed the squealing belt. I would now take the truck to a shop to have the A/C system tested.

Alright thanks alot guys. I'm glad I joined this forum of dodge lovers. After I get that fixed I plan on bringing my truck to get it lifted I'm excited for that. But I did have the AC thing looked at while getting an oil change they said AC compressor so I'm thinking thats it.

Welcome to DF, some really great guys on hear, so enjoy! Starting it first thing in the AM is when there's lots of strain on the belt. And auto tensioners tend lose their tension over time not over nite Also your system could still be pressurized and is just another reason to bring it to the pros...

One of the first repairs needed on my truck was the water pump. The symptom was squealing like raped pig when first started it up. Then it would quiet down in a block or two. Idler pulley will also start squealing when bearings are worn. +3 on taking it to shop and have a/c checked out.
