Truck was dropped off for paint tonight. I spent a good 3 hours (and 10 cans of spraypaint) touching up the frame, axles, etc. before we took it. Most other items will be ordered in the morning.

Yes. I spoke with our fleet mechanic on that and once the truck gets back from paint they will being going through the entire thing and changing all fluids and filters, all ignition components, brakes, adding the aux. transmission cooloer and anything else that needs to be done.

Think I woulda done that BEFORE sending it out for paint.

There is nothing mechanically wrong with the truck. All of the things I mentioned are just precautions we are going to take. I have been driving it back and forth to Augusta at least once a week for the last 2 years.
