I have all the flange parts here to up-grade my truck, so I am pretty sure you can do this with ezzzz. All you will have to do is swap the cross joints out.
No it will be the same, look at your pix, look at where the pinion nut sits on each diff, the old one sits in deep, the new one sit's out, it should work out to be the same.
Chances are you can move the flange part from the new drive-shaft to your drive-shaft.
+1 probably. if he gets the drive shaft from the donor truck, just to get the little round flange part - he can move that round flange to his drive shaft.
if not - worst case, change out the pinion flange.
