Default Power windows not working

So went to eat today, rolled up the windows and went in, left and they rolled down, got to work and they won't go up. Neither switch is working at all. Checked the fuse by swapping with the power seats and they still worked. Thinking its the ground. Where would I look? Also the airbag light came on and so did the abs but I'm not sure when, haven't spent enough time with the truck.

Did they both stop working? Did they work sort of ok but weak then nothing at all? The wires in the door jam get shorts sometimes.

There is an electrical schematic in the Manual in the FAQ/DIY section. Is there a relay in the window circuit?

i have no idea if there is a relay in the circuit and the drivers side was perfect, the passenger side would slowly go up when using the drivers side controls and the passenger side controls were a little better but still slower than the drivers side. i will make sure to check out that schematic. these things couldnt come at a worse time, getting ready to do a network integration evaluation for the army (test new radio systems) and im going in early and getting off late so for now i took everything of value out and just leavin them down :/

The driver's switch has to be plugged in for the passenger switch to work. More than likely the harness plug slipped off the switch. This has happened to me in both my Ram and Durango.

You'll have to remove the panel, but just make sure the harness is plugged into the switch before you start replacing parts.

i looked today, made sure they were connected and tried pushing the plug into the switch and trying it on both sides. neither switch works. theres a lot of work to be done to the truck but the windows did work and now they dont and in el paso, thats not good. i looked at the wiring going in between the door jam and didnt see any breaks or kinks. working from 6am-7pm so no time to really look during the day. ill take and diagnose it this weekend and let you guys know if i run into any more trouble or if it gets fixed.

If El Paso wasn;t so far away, I would come help you fix it!

It should not be to difficult, but it ill just take some time. I will try to look over electrical schematic to see if I can find a likely point of failure and post up tomorrow if I get a chance.

get a test light and check to see if the regulator is getting power and ground, if so you prolly need a regulator.

thanks for the help guys, for the third day this week ive work from before sunrise to after sundown so still didnt get it fixed today. just had to rain this morning too so the seat was a little wet, nothing to bad. anyways looked at it all on the service manual and will take a crack at it tomorrow. still gotta look into the ABS light and AIRBAG light as well as wild vents still after replacing the check valve and pcv valve. i do know the cruise control vacuum line is half gone so im sure thats what it is lol battery fell out of the tray and ate up the line.gotta check to see if dome light is hooked up and i think im gonna just strip the headliner and start tightening up the electrical mess under the dash
