i cant figure it out im still new with this truck and dont really know much at all about it but the gauges die and say no bus where the mileage is. but the speedometer is the first to die and the air bag light comes on imediately but if you tap the brakes real quick it will work again, any idea or thoughts? thanks

 

Sounds like a loose/bad connection to the cluster.

 

Check for loose connection on the PCM and wiring on back of cluster.

Got tilt wheel? If so, pull the knee panel off under column and check condition of wiring there.

 

ok it has to be something loose. there is some molex plug in thing wired into this box looking thing just left of the brake pedal. any ideas what that could be?

Where do the spliced in wires run off to?

 

Thats aftermarket what ever those blue spade connectors go to.

 

yeah it goes to some molex plug in thing but nothing is there i found the wires tucked up under the panel under the steering wheel the knee panel or w\e its called
