Default Differential disassembly (1996 Ram 1500)

Me and my dad are trying to disassemble a rear differential. We have most of it done, but we cannot pull it out the housing. I looked at the manual and it says to use a Position Spreader W-129-B. My question is there another way that tool is not sold near me.

Should be able to just loosen up the side adjusters, then take the bearing cap bolts out the rest of the way, and it will just fall out..... This is the rear differential, chrysler 9.25, right?

Alldatadiy.com has the repair information for the differential as well as other items that may help you in your mission to fix your vehicle. Good Luck!
